Local Goodness at Local Harvest Restaurant on Bainbridge Island, WA

While visiting Bainbridge Island in Washington we had the pleasure of dining at Local Harvest Restaurant, a wonderful treat for the taste buds and a thoroughly fun and enjoyable dining experience.

Talented Chef and owner Daniel Miller graduated from the Culinary Institute of America located in Hyde Park, New York. He and his wife Jessica own this remarkable eatery.

After spending more than 10 years cooking worldwide for America’s elite on mega-yachts, in 90,000 square foot estates, and aboard private jumbo jets he now brings his culinary techniques to the dishes he prepares at Local Harvest Restaurant.

Chef Daniel has cooked for: Lisa Marie Presley, Bob Hope, Leslie Wexner, Dan Marino, Pres. George Bush, Peter & Tamara Lowe, Susie Orman, James Bishop, Butch Davis, Bruce Smith, Jim Kelly, Thurman Thomas, Gloria Estefan, Countless NFL players, famous actors, renowned lawyers and politicians. Now lucky Bainbridge Island residents and visitors can enjoy his delectable creations like homemade flat breads, pastas and local farm to fork dishes using the freshest ingredients available in season and leaving a small carbon footprint.

We were impressed with the locally raised Flatiron Steak, Jamaican Jerk Pork Chop, flatbreads and local steamed clams on our visit. All entrees were served with sides that were from local farmers, organic, and with delicious flavors.

The famous homemade flatbreads served with savory toppings such as goat cheese and local sausage, are made with sustainable flour grown in the Pacific Northwest and gluten free dough is available on request.

The atmosphere was contemporary, comfortable and relaxing. The service was excellent.

The location of Local Harvest Restaurant is a pleasant short walk from most Bainbridge Island lodging and attractions.

This was a truly memorable and outstanding dining experience with the highest quality foods served at reasonable prices.
