Southern Appalachian Brewery

A great little hidden gem in Hendersonville, North Carolina awaits anyone in search of great, small batch beer, good music and a relaxed atmosphere near the heart of downtown.

Southern Appalachian Brewery came to its current and permanent location home in Hendersonville, NC just two years ago, after originally being founded in Rosman, NC about ten years prior.

Owned and operated by Andy & Kelly Cubbin, the brewery offers an indoor bar with beer to go, as well as a large outdoor seating area with games, special events, and often live music.

Formerly known as the Appalachian Craft Brewery it has recently expanded its production facilities and added a public tasting room which offers locals and visitors a chance to try some great brew.

The current location is just one block off North Main Street near the historic Depot District.

Southern Appalachian continues to create quality, small batch craft brewed ales including: Copperhead Amber, Black Bear Stout, and an IPA.

We tried the sampler and enjoyed most all the beers. The crowd was fun, staff friendly, music enjoyable and it proved to be a great little diversion from a busy day.
